disk defragmentor

I accidentally deleted my Disk Defragmentor. How can I
get download just that component? I do have my orginal
disks but I would just like to download it from the web
if possible.
 
You can't download it from the internet. Have you tried running System
Restore? If the problem was recent that might do the trick for you. Go to
Start->Help and Support->Pick a task->click on the System Restore link and
follow the wizard to bring your system back to the state it was in prior to
deleting the app.

Or pop your XP CD into the drive and cancel the Install window that
autoplays. Click the Start button and select Run. Type SFC /SCANNOW and
click OK. That will run the System File Checker, scan your system for
missing system files and will replace what is missing.

Did you actually delete this from the "System32" folder, where the program
actually resides? If you didn't, just go to the C\WINDOWS\system32 folder,
and find "dfrg.msc". Simply copy and paste it (as a shortcut if you want) to
where you want it back. You also can access the defrag program from the
Computer Management console.
