Sorry, but if you wish to appear efficient then you need to be more
vigilant. There are often repeats mentioned on this group that may help
people who missed something the first time around. A pointless post on
your part!

So why are you so angry KBB (Stan), you know I do want you as a fan, I just
think you need to treat him/her better, LOL.

Prick!
I did not see it as I was not here 4 days ago. Or maybe I should wade
through all the messages?
Have you always been a self opinionated prick or is this your first attempt.

If you have not viewed a group for some time, then for what time-period do you
grab files... that day, or "all new headers"?

Totally agree Bob.

You know .. there are some people in life that would answer the same
question to different people on more than one occasion in the same day and
they wouldn't have a problem so why should it be any diferent on the
internet I wonder.

Yes we can check back on old posts but this group (in just the few months I
have been reading) has realised many more posts per day than what I ever
remember and therefore it could be easy to misss something.

PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND PEOPLE (without the risk of being whats the word
.... FLAMED or is it FRAMED ;o)

Ian.

It doesnt matter!

People miss things!!!! ... u know what it's like these days ... people lead
quite hectic live and get pretty tired at the end of the day .. as i say
people miss things. It's not the end of the world if someone asks the same
question as a couple of days ago. there are more important things in life to
have a moan about surely ;o)

Ian.

Indeed they do. Google can help, or posts like KBB's which point out
that there is an existing thread.

KBB didn't moan, but there's been a lot of moaning in response to his
post.

The other thread is: "New to me - Auslogics Disk Defrag"

So much opinion, so little INFORMATION. . .
(my 2 cents worth on this thread) ;)

You should have. And keep the foul language out of the group.

Also, there is the Search/Find issue with some newsreaders.

Thunderbird had a great Search function for me, but TB finally had too
many problems.

I've been using Xnews again, really like it, but can't get the Search
function to work. So manually going through lots of past posts can be a
big job.

Yeah Right!
Like, I was only 7 minutes late at the car park yesterday, and he
charged me for a full two hours. Bah.
