Currently I have 2 hard drives, a CDRom and a CD writer installed in the IDE
slots of my mother board.. I have just installed an Ultra ATA-100 PCB into
an IDE slot. I have fitted a 80 gb drive on the primary channel of this
controller. Windows XP recognised the new hardware and installed the
controller and recognises the drive when booting. If I go to System
information, all three hard drives are shown and "Device Manager" shows all
disks are working properly.
However, I do not see this drive listed from "My Computer" and do not know
how to access it. Any assistance very welcome.
