Disk Cleanup

I need help. I cant seem to clean my harddrive (Disk C). I go through the right process and when windows ask me which disk, i hit C. After that it says "Scanning old comprise files" That is normal but it stays there as if it is locked. The longest I have kept it like that was 2 hours. Normally it only takes 20 minutes at the most. The last time I cleaned my Disk was about a week ago. I have also tried restarting my PC. Thank in advance for your help.

Simply click on Kelly's fix, download the registry fix, then run it

Try opening the Internet explorer options and cleaning
your temp files and cache before the operation. Also make
sure the Recycle bin is cleaned out. Then run the cleaner
and see if the cleaning of "compressed old files" hangs.
Also use ms config and try stopping some add on startup
applications, before running the cleanup tool.
