Disk Cleanup

Is there a way to turn off scanning: compress old files
when you run disk cleanup? my machine takes anywhere from
45 to 1.5 hours to run disk cleanup and 99% of the time it
is looking for old files to compress. I have a large drive
and am not interested in compressing files.
