disk clean up

I can use disk clean up, says is turned off , I tried
changing start days and times, no help. when i click on
run my computer just sounds like is running very fast,
but nothing happends and I must turn computer off to make
it stop. Help please, in log it says disk clean up has
never ran.

insted of turning off your PC cos it sounds as though it
is running fast, and rather than wait for your PC to do
the work for you, do the disc clean and defrag yourself.
it may take some time but if you want it doing set it off
then go watch tv until its finished, saves looking at
monitor all the time. start/pragrammes/accessories/disc
cleanup/ selct which drive then press start. go to
saame place for de-frag. also if your PC sounds as if
going fast, your process fan or your power unit may
becomeing old and worn out.....
