I am totally disgusted with Microsoft and MSN. I not only cannot download
from a link in an msn email, but they keep trying to force me to upgrade. I
tried that and ended up with such a nightmare I had to restore my computer
back a few months, but the nightmare of msn and microsoft continues. They
keep shutting me down, won't let me do anything. I do not EVER want to
uprade to Explorer 7 (that is a huge nightmare) and I don't want to upgrade
my Windows XP to Vista or upgrade my msn.com email version. How do I make
Microsoft understand this and to straighten out what I have got. I've tried
getting hold of Tech Support but all I get are a bunch of people in India who
cannot speak English slowly or distinctly enough to be understood. How do I
get a Canadian or American technician who does know how to speak English
properly????

I am sorry to tell you that you have posted your problem to the wrong
group, although many here will probably sympathize with you. Look for a
group with "Windows" or "MSN" in the description.

Thanks,
Robin S.

I would help you but although I speak only one language (English) and I
speak it perfectly I am not a Canadian or an American. Sorry.

Despite this backhander, I sympathise with the OP. (I am a Visual Basic 6
supporter and cannot help either). But overseas "unhelp" desks drive me
barmy too. I am in Australia so I would love to hear an Aussie voice (or an
English one instead -- I was born in England) reply when I need help. But I
get a cheerful and completely clueless Philippines person...
