When you click on a normal slide in a slide presentation,
the show advances to the next slide. How do you disenable
this?
Also, how do you program a button to move the show to a
particular slide?
Thanks.

Go into slide sorter view and un-check "advance on mouse click".

particular slide?

Create the button (object), right click and select "Action Settings".
Select "On mouse click" and then select the slide number you want it to jump
to.

To disable keystrokes, change your presentation to a kiosk show by going to
Slide Show --> Set up Show, and clicking the kiosk selection. Another option
(on that same screen) is to turn off advance on mouse click.

To have a button move you to another slide, right click the button (or other
shape or element) and select "Hyperlink". On the screen that comes up select
the same show option in the left column and the slide to go to in the right
column. Bingo! All set!

Post back and let us know if this helps!
