Help-

I used the FrontPage 2000 Discussion Wizard to create a discussion area
at one of my web sites hosted with an company that is using an NT
server. I get the following error when I try to post:

Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions' Smart HTML interpreter on
this non-HTML page

My ISP referred me to MS support ?kbid=306012

I went over to the server, recalculated the hyperlinks and exited Front
Page, I get the same error. One difference is what 306012 refers to a
subweb and I can not convert my directory as a subweb because I get the
following error:

"The server could not complete your request. Contact you ISP or web
server administrator to make sure that the server has the FrontPage
Server Extensiions or SharePoint Team Serices from MS installed." Under
details it says "Error - The specified module could not be found".

My guess is there is something not set up correctly on the server but I
do not know what questions to ask my ISP. They indicate that since it is
an NT server with FP Extensions, that it is not their problem...

Thanks for any ideas.

If the host is hosting your site on their server, then it is their problem.

Ask them to run a check on the extensions for your account.
