I have a workbook consisting of monthly data and another
Summary workbook that breaks down this data in a number of
different ways. The summary workbook is automatically
updated from the monthly one. I want to be able to email
the summary one as a static workbook ( I.E. the receiver
will not get the message asking if they want to update the
workbook )Is it possible to 'disconnect' the summary
workbook and then reconnect it after i have sent it?

Thanks

How about just converting all the formulas to values?

select all the sheets
ctrl-A to select all the cells
Edit|copy
Edit|paste special Values

select A1
Ungroup the sheets

Don't save this version as your real version. In fact, I'd File|SaveAs
Newname.xls, just to make sure I didn't overwrite the formula version workbook.
