I need to setup a GP to a OU, where all the computers in
this OU should automatically get logout after an inactive
period (1 min). The Login screen should be prompt. Please
advice.

Can i set this GP from the domain user level rather than
the Computer level?

Do i have to do any changes at the Local computer policy
also(Client end) or only the Domain GP at the OU level is
sufficient?

I dont think there is a group policy setting for computer idle time. You
could try this though. set this gp setting. 'User settings/admin
templates/windows components/control panel/dispaly/' and find the setting
"Screen saver timeout" mark this policy as 'Enabled' with a set time of 60
seconds. Then set the policy above it "Password protect screen saver" set
this to Enabled and after an idle time of 60 seconds the screen saver will
turn on and when the user needs to get back into the pc it will ask the user
to logon. This is the closest thing i can come up with. Hope it helps!
