Can anyone suggest a way to totally disconnect the
history log so it doesn't record anything? I'm working on
a very confidential project now and the PC users around
me have warned me to delete all of my "history" before I
leave the computer for breaks, etc. I click on "delete
history" but it doesn't always work. Is there a
relatively easy (I'm not too knowledgeable about
programming and technology)way to do that? I have been
manually deleting them all, but it takes forever!

Thanks for any help you can provide to me!

Unless you can find a 3rd party application you can do this before you leave
each day.

Delete/Empty Temporary Internet Cache completely
How To: and with most operating system.

Look at this possibility.
Prevent Unauthorized Users from accessing your computer (95/98/Me/XP)
Under Security Force users to have a valid user name and password on the
system. Make sure you read the instructions carefully.
