Discard Picture Resizing Information

I have several very very small images in my spreadsheet. They all have reset information back to their original size, which is larger than I will ever need. Is there a way to discard that information so that the images are only as big as they are in the spreadsheet? Essentially discard the resizing history so there is NO reset and thus make the file a little smaller?
