Disc swapping nuisance

I have a programme with 6 CD's, which frequently asks me to change disc.
I installed it from an image of disc 1 on my hard drive, but it still
insists on having the right one in the CD drive.
Is there any way of fooling win98 into reading from the hard drive
instead of the CD?
TIA
Mike

Yes. You need to make six virtual disc drives with Daemon Tools. You will
also need to make images of the discs and store them on your HD so Daemon
Tools can mount them to the virtual drive(s).

You could make fewer virtual drives but you'd have to unmount one disc to
mount another. Easier to mount them all. Besides, it is cool having
Explorer show you a whole bunch of drives. :)

Most you can make is four. Wonder what would happen if you installed it
twice? :)

Thanks for Daemon. Although it only handles 4 drives it does look very
sound so I may give it a try. Trouble is I now need disc images to put
in the drives. Any recommendations for a freeware image maker please.

Burnatonce says it will, don't know. Use CloneCD myself.
