Hi
I have read a lot about the importance of having a Disc Image on CD/DVD
I don't do a lot of burning so I never looked at Cyberlink Power2Go
That came w/this computer, recently I checked it out
It has the options to burn or save a Disc Image
Any hinds or direction on where to find the "Disc Image" ?
so I can give it a try. or do I need to create one first.
Emachine Refurbished
Vista Home Basic SP1 (512 MB)
Thanks

Sounds like you want to create an image of your hard drive.
"Acronis True Image Home 2009" would be a good choice
for that task.

You create it, old bean. The image is a compressed version of
everything on your hard drive and it's used to recover from disaster.

I should add: the image that it will burn is PROBABLY just one that
will return your computer to "out-of-the-box" condition and not one
that will bring it back to where it is today.

At the very least, you SHOULD do that before disaster strikes and
leaves you with a totally trashed computer.

To create an image that will return your computer to where it is
TODAY, you will need something like Acronis True Image.

thanks
will give it a try
