Disc-Drive Shutting Down PC

Whenever i use my disc-drive it keeps shutting my
computer off(not down...OFF)!Can anyone tell me why this
is happening!Also,only 2 of my audio ports are working,do
i need to alter some of my drivers?

Sounds to me like a hardware problem. Check every connection you can find.
Open the case, if you've had it open before, and check especially the hard
drive cable connectors. Also, check the cables themselves; sometimes there
are breaks or shorts within the cables.

Of course, this depends on whether you built the computer yourself or bought
it "off the shelf", and how recently. If it is a new computer under
warranty, have it fixed or replaced by whoever sold it to you.

If you want more details, give us more details. We can't see your computer.
