Open the case and make sure all connections are securely seated.
Does the BIOS recognize the drive?
Is the drive listed in Device Manager > DVD/CD-ROM drives?
Are there any Unknown or Other devices listed in DM?

A tower case with an internal CD drive, or an external drive?

Does the drive show in the computer's POST (Power On Self Test)?

Does the drive's LED come on at all while the computer boots?

Checked to make sure the drive cables are still connected?

Where do i locate the bios... and when i look at the deive manager it
shows the CC drive with yellow triangle next to it
