disc cleaner in XP doesn't work

Disc cleaner in XP Home no longer works. The progress bar
shows about 4 squares but never moves beyond. I ran easy
clean a while back and may have deleted a file I needed.
Any ideas? Defrag was also very slow today - about 1 1/2
hrs.

Try the following web sites:

the right-hand window, click on "Disk Cleanup - Compress Old Files Freezes"

Simply click on Kelly's fix, download the registry fix, then run it
