disc clean up

Hi,
I clean up regularly via control panel..free space on
hard disc...etc, everything cleans
except "WebClient/Publisher Temporary Files"...what is
this THING ???? it just gets bigger, despite being told I
CAN safely delete...please help me get rid of the files
which are obviously not needed..I am told. ( It will have
to be basic as I am a newcomer ! )Thanks anyone !!
 
Try as I may, I just cannot get Disc Clean up to function. The Disc Clean up window appears in the middle of the screen, and then.............nothing. Can anybody please advise? Ken

Found it !!
Go to another post, two pages infront of this one
to "webClient/temp files won't delete " by "bob with
kids " my sloution is on there !

temp files thats easy go to my computer documents and settings and select cookies all they are are little temp files the computer uses to find pages on the internet faster go ahead and select all except index dont select that one you need that one and deleat the rest then run disc clean up again and see if that helps.
