I created a slide for a client that she inserted into a PowerPoint 2003 file.
When she emailed the file to others, the file looks fine. But when any of
the recipients, no matter whether they are on PowerPoint 2000, 2002/XP, or
2003, emails the file to someone else, the inserted slide is just a blank
background. Has anyone else run across such a thing? Thanks.

Make sure that your client has applied SP-1 to Office 2003. She can go to
Help/Check for Updates to do so.

And all of the people she mails to should have SP1 applied too.
