disappearing relationships

I think I have the same problem as "EM Bond" (see July 25
post); while editing a table, all relationships disapeared
from the Relationship window when I closed the table
design window. If I go through table by table and "Show
Direct" the direct relationships for that table re-appear,
and I can get them displayed with some effort. If I save,
close and reopen, they're all gone again! Nothing is
checked in the Relationships menu and there is nothing
selected that I can find that would indicate that I'm
hiding anything. I suppose that since I can manually go
through and "Show Direct" to get them back, they still all
exist, but I can't figure out why they are not shown by
default....Thanks for any help
 
I'm guessing that Access has failed to track the changes you made, and the
Name AutoCorrect feature is the culprit. Creating a new database without
this history should solve the problem, and turning of Name AutoCorrect
should stop it recurring.

1. Create a new (blank database).

2. Uncheck the "Name AutoCorrect" boxes under:
Tools | Options | General

3. Import all the objects from your existing database:
File | Get External | Import

4. Check and reorganise the relations.
