Disappearing Lines!

I have had a chart for some weeks now that I update periodically. It is a
simple line chart. When I opened the chart today, my data series points were
all there, but no series line connecting them. I have checked everything I
can possible think of, to no avail.

I finally decided to just recreate the chart. When I choose line as my
chart type, there are still no lines!! (This is only true of the basic line;
stacked line charts appear to be functioning fine.) Anybody have a clue?
Any experience with disappearing lines?

I am having the same problem with a combination chart where the markers show
fine, but no matter what I do the lines in between will not show up.

Marinarar - I did some hunting around and I think this solution posted awhile
back by Jon may help you, give it a try:

If the valueless cells are truly blank, select the chart, then select
Options on the Tools menu, click on the Chart tab, and choose Plot Empty
Cells As Interpolated.

If these cells look blank because a formula returned "", then change ""
to NA() in the formula, which fills the cells with #N/A. As Jerry
pointed out, #N/A allows the connecting line to pass across a gap.

If you have transferred the data excel some of the times places this
information in the cell as a text line and will not graph. To fix this in
older versions you have to hand reput the data after changing the cells to
number. In 2002 and above you can do this under error checking.

Do you have gaps in the data? By default, Excel skips missing data, but you can tell
it to interpolate a line over the gap (Tools menu > Options > Chart tab).
