I have an Access 2000 database and installed Norton
Antivirus 2003 on the machine that is using the
database. The data base opens okay and data entry is
okay. When I open a form and the combined query window
opens the form and data are there, but when I scroll down
the form disappears and the data remains in the place it
would be on the form. When I exit I get: A problem
occurred while microsoft access was communticating with
the OLE server. Then it gives me several solutions
regarding the OLE server, make sure connected to network
server where OLE server app is located, close OLE server
and restart outside of Access, and reinstall the OLE
server. I don't know a lot about Access and have
difficulty finding info about the OLE server. If I
uninstall Norton the database works fine. The machine
had an expired version of Norton prior to the new Norton
being installed and the data base worked fine when the
expired norton was on the machine. The old norton was
uninstalled prior to the new one being put on. Any
suggestions, Thank You.
