Disappearing files!

NB

I have 25 users in a Windows 2000 domain running AD. One
of the users is experiencing the disappearing files from
her home directory, and it's only happening to this
particular user. We use Terminal services for remote
connection to one domain controller. and she is one of
the five remote users. I checked all of her security
rights and group assignments and nothing has changed.
This just started happening last Tuesday. No one else
remotely or in-house has experienced this problem?

Most likely she saved the files somewhere else and doesn't remember
where. It happens 100% of the times when my users call me and tell me that
their files just magically disappeared. I just love to search for the files
and embarrass the the users when I find them.
Perhaps in your case it's a legit problem - have you considered a user
account with too much access ??
 
No they just disappear without anyone else touching them,
then they reappear with no ryme or reason

If it's in her home directory, the problem might be related to her user
profile and/or offline folders.

Does it ever happen if she's saving them somehwere other than her home
directory?
