A few of my users have complained that they will be
looking right at their screens and see an email come in
than disappear. I have check for rules and filters and
there are none. Does anyone have any idea why this might
be happening?

Thanks,
Donna

Do you have any Virus scanners running on the client?
If so, what?
What version of Outlook?

I should also mention the possibilities listed below:

Some kind of filter view set?

If you have a "View" filter to show only unread messages
it would appear to "disappear".

To check your view settings:

Open Outlook
Select the Inbox folder
Select VIEW from the menu
Select CURRENT VIEW
Select MESSAGES
Click the RESET button if it is not grayed out
Apply the view.

or look for a rule that's moving the messages to another folder...have you
done an advanced find?

My users are running Outlook 2002. I also have TrendMirco
running on the computers but this problem seems to have
started when I upgraded my Exchange server to 2000
Enterprise and added TrendMicro ScanMail for Spam.

The following article mentions the M drive problem with
AV scanners...
