disappearing appointments

When someone puts a Calender Entry it disappears when they try to look for
it next time and while trying to re-enter same entry it says that there is a
conflict with the appointment so it seems that the entry is there but not
visible.

Can anybody help me on this.

The same thing happened to me. But in my case the calendar
items were disappearing after every weekend. Hence the
items could not be seen in the Day/Week/Month view. But if
you click on the View by category of the Calendar, you'll
find all the appointments appearing there. It has
something to do with the Exchange 2000 being scanned.
Certain files are not to be scanned, if they are they
cause calendar problems.
