Also, is there a way to prevent other db's from linking
to an .mdb file?
Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a split database.
I do not want any users tampering with the design of the
front or back end. I've got it locked up tight, so that
the only thing available to them is the forms and reports.
However, I would like to give them a .mdb file that their
more proficient users can use, for running their own ad
hoc queries. However, I don't want them to be able to
alter the data from the ad hoc .mdb file.
Thanks again!
