hi Marc
I've tried to do the above, went thru the whole registry, all values(it seems that there were 3 places where I can find the parameter for ipenablerouter) were '0'. I am trying to access to my company's VPN using Checkpoint's Securemote, and it keeps saying my PC's ip forwarding is active and not allowing me to continue. Would you be able to help

Hi Glenn
To disable TCP/IP forwarding, follow these steps
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe)
2. In Registry Editor, locate the following registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameter
3. Set the following registry value
Value Name: IPEnableRoute
Value type: REG_DWOR
Value Data:
A value of 0 disables TCP/IP forwarding for all network connections that
are installed and used by this computer
4. Quit Registry Editor
Thanks
