Zak,
You could always disable the user's File and Print Sharing
option. After all they are probably not sharing any files
nor printers (shares would be on your server I presume)
and this will kill the ability of remote management, but
also their ability to share files and printers which most
users shouldn't be doing on an administered network anyway.
