Is there a registry tweak (or any other way) that allows
me to disable the power button on a PC. At present if I
press the power button the PC shuts down, but I don't want
this to be the case. I don't want anything to happen when
I press it.
Thanks

If Windows does a Shut Down, see Dave's post.

If the machine powers off instantly you might check the options in the
BIOS setup program for possible "power button" choices.

Hi,

If you're not looking to Standby, Hibernate, or power off, open your
computers case, look at the small pair of wires coming from your power
button, unplug it from your motherboard. If you're really trying to kill
it, you might also pull the wires for the reset button too while you're
in there.
