The Windows 2000 DHCP Server instructions for the Windows 2000 Option
"Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" confuse me. I have copied the instructions
below my signature. The Length: field says "..accepted values are either 0
or 1." But the Value: field below it says that the value to disable
NetBIOS is 2.
Should we enter 2 to disable NetBIOS? If yes, what do the values 0 and 1
do?

Will
Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT)
Code: 1
Length: 1 octet, accepted values are either 0 or 1.
Value: 2=Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT) for Windows 2000 DHCP clients.
If any other value is specified, NetBT remains enabled.
Description: This option can be used to selectively enable or disable NetBT
for DHCP-enabled computers running Windows 2000 only. By installation
default, if this option is not present Windows 2000 enables the use of NetBT
for network connections that are configured to use TCP/IP. Earlier Windows
clients require NetBT and do not support this option.
Structure:
Code NetBT on/off
