Disabling multiple share

Hi,
We have home server with hundreds of home folder which are
individually shared in windows 2000 server. We are doing
some maintence with backup and want to disable the shares
for few hours and then enabling it. Anyone kows any
tweaking instead of putting share individually, can we do
that in one simpler way. Please help,
