I am trying to disable the Windows + L and Windows + R
Shortcuts in Windows XP. I know that I can easly disable
the Windows key itself, but I would like to leave that
functionality available. Is there a way to either remove
or disable those two (or all the MSK shortcuts)?

I have attempted to remap the Make command for the windows
key to the Break command (Since it is the make command and
the L key that locks the computer). That has no effect. I
have disabled just the Make command, but without a Make
command, there is no Break command, so it just disables
the Windows Key all together.

I would prefer not to use 3rd party software for this, but
it would be considered if nothing else was available. Does
anyone have any thoughs on this? I have given links below
as to what information I have used so far.

then back-out of device,shutdown computer.On restart xp
will reinstall, also there's a new version for keyboards

If you have XP Pro, check out the available options in the Local Security
Policy console: Start> Run> secpol.msc
