Hi,
I have installed a Windows 2000 server on a machine with an Intel Xeon 2,8
Ghz/2Mb , 2 Gb RAM, PERC 4/SC single channel RAID card and 2 x 146GB SCSI
Ultra320 (10,000rpm) disks. Initially the Hyper Threading was enabled on this
machine; after 2 months, I have installed a SCADA software that does NOT
support Hyper Threading, so I have disabled it; on the same PC, I have
developped 2 VB6 applications that before I disabled the Hyper Threading were
working properly, but now they seem to work very slowly.
Someone knows if there are some settings to be made after disabling of HT on
Windows 2000?
Regards
