Disabling Graphics Card

I have installed a GeForce FX 5200 PCI card on my computer. My previous card was the standard Intel, which comes with the HP computer. I went through and disabled the Intel card, but every time I reboot it senses the Intel as new hardware and tries to reinstall it. I have read where you need to goto into the system BIOS to disable the onboard graphics card, but I'm not sure how to do this or where I can find information concerning this problem. Any help is appreicated.

Ask HP support or read the manual that HP has (paper or
on-line). HP has some pretty complete FAQs for each model
computer. I assume your HP has Intel mobo with on-board
graphics. If it had an AGP slot (some do, some don't)
installing an AGP card would probably deactivate the
on-board graphics automatically.

On HP computers, press F2 ( I think) will open the BIOS if
you do it before Windows boots.

see www.hp.com and search for your computer.
