Hello,

In a Win 2000 Pro installation, File and Print Sharing is installed by
default. Is it safe to uninstall File and Print Sharing? Is it necessary for
the normal operation of Win 2K Pro?

I should add, that it will not allow you to use Computer Management to
remotely manage computers if it is disabled on the target computer. You can
also manage security by modifying the users right assignment for "access
this computer from the network" on domain members to include only necessary
users and groups such as removing users/everyone group if you only want
administrators, etc to access computers remotely. --- Steve
