I have a client who has lost his password for the content
advisor, and now wishes to disable it.

Is there a registry key, or something we can edit to reset
this password.

Hi Rob,

If the Content Advisor password is forgotten, manually reset the forgotten
Content Advisor password:

FIX: (Courtesy : Jim - MVP)
If you wish to restore Content Advisor to its original condition, download
this program (CA-Reset.exe - 89.5K)
http://ftp.donaldsonconsulting.net/Microsoft-Support/Content Advisor reset/.

NOTE: Using CA-Reset will completely delete your Approved List
