disabling clock icons?

the link above are the symbols, anyway to disable these as there are
too many showing up when you have alot of events.

Right-click the calendar view pane (or click View>Arrange By>Current
View>Customize Current View), choose Other Settings, and uncheck the boxes
labeled "Show time as clocks". There are links on the page you site above
that explain that. Perhaps you didn't follow the links.
