How can the 128 bit encryption level be disabled so that it is limited to
only 64 bit encryption for use outside the USA and Canada? Or is it one of
those enable/disable switches?
If it can be done, can a hard drive build be configured to make it only 64
bit mode and impossible to enable the 128 bit mode?
Alternatively, is there a completely different CD version of Windows
Embedded Point of Service for distribution as a reexport outside the
USA/Canada?
The root of this question is so that we can produce POS systems and ship
them worldwide based on WEPOS, and other systems based on WinXP Embedded.
We're talking about hundreds of units and need to stay in compliance with the
regulations.
