disabled apps and webshots

Dan

I am somewhat new to active directory and have hopefully a simple
question. We have started applying a default policy on our OU (no
policies from above are being pushed down). We have successfully
disabled the applications for instant messaging, ie ypager.exe. We
have tried to disable the user of Webshots using the same method but
are unsuccessful. I have added the process "webshots.scr" to the
disabled applications but it can still be started. Am I missing
something obvious or should I go about this differently?

Thanks
Erv

Hi Dan-

Is Webshots an executable, or is it ran from a web page or within code on a
web page?

Thanks for the reply Tim,

I figured out what I was doing incorrectly. I was naming the process
running instead of the application that launched it. The launching
application was called "launcher.exe" and the process started was
called "webshots.scr." I just needed to identify "launcher.exe" in the
disabled list.

Thanks
Dan
