The answer must be obvious, right under my nose.
I will admit, I am no pro, so all those posters who love to ridicule
people because we know less than you, I will spare you and say "You're
right. You do." So please, only reply if you are willing to help a
poor soul.
I have a network of about 300 computers. All XP SP2.. and one Vista
I run Active directory on a Windows 2000 server.
I have tried and tried, looked and looked, and googled and googled,
but no matter how many times I try, i do NOT see, under Network
Connections, any possible way to disable the windows firewall like all
the groups, sites, and KB articles say... all i see under there when
editing the properties of my OU is "Prohibit configuration of
connection sharing"
I am assuming there is something I need to add to my server AD to see
this firewall disabling unit...
Any help is appreciated, and if you need more info, I will be happy to
reply with said info.
Thanks in advance
