Disable x button of another program

I have a simple batch file that will install new software over the
network. Is there a way to disable the x button (close) from the
taskbar so it wouldn't be so easy for users to close the
batch....tia...

Theres not a way that I know of to disable the x(close) button.
Try using cmdow. http://www.commandline.co.uk/cmdow/
You can hide the cmd window completly with this tool.
