To make a backup with Powerquest Drive Image 7.0 I have
been instructed to disable virus protection in the Bios
before creating an image. I use Viruscan on line of McAfee.
How Can I Precisely do that?
Can somebody help ?
Thank you.

Then you don't have bios level virus protection. And therefor don't need
to disable it.
Double check, to confirm this.

It may not say enable /disable virus protection.
it will most likely say, enable/disable track 0 write
protection.

tell you what, go into your bios and write down what the
screen says, also find out who wrote your bios and what
version, it should give a title screen with version
when you enter the bios. then we can direct you further

Please be advised this type of question is hardware related
not windows. for your future reference.
