Iam working Within Win2k Advanced Server Domain.we have
different types of workstations(nt 4.0,Win 2000,winXP).
my problem is how to prevent users from copying data to
the usb drives or H.D.D ,because I have disovered that
they could make their own H.D.D as a slave then they could
copy some urgent and secret data,or also they could
transfer data into any usb drives, and I do not want to
disable the usb drive because they use it for printing
eventhough I disable the the auto detection(option of
motherboard)and set the non connected IDE to none

Help Will be Appreciated.
Best Regards
Ahmed Nour

USB is not available in NT 4.

Why not just "disable" USB in the BIOS? If you truely need USB, for a short
time, you could always "re-enable" it later?
