Disable the "next slide" feature in slide show mode?

I have a presentation where hyperlinks direct you to specific slides,
documents, or video clips, and I want to disable the "next slide" function
(page up/down, arrow up/down, space bar, and enter) so that users can only
move to a different slide by selecting the buttons with hyperlinks. Is that
possible?

Select "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show" item, select "Browsed at a kiosk (full
screen)" option, click OK. Now when you start the slide show, the keyboard
is disabled. You navigate using hyperlinks only. Esc key will take you out
of the slide show.

Chirag,

Thank you so much. That worked perfectly and was such an easy fix.
When I did a search in Powerpoint help, that term did not come up at all.
Good 'ole MS!!!

Can I ask what kinds of search terms you were using? Maybe we can get them
added to the Help files so the next person using the same terms will find
them!

I found this thread because I couldn't find the information I wanted using
PPT help. I came to the discussion group and typed "down arrow" and
immediately this popped to the top. Exactly what I was looking for.

I also tried "advance slide" & "page down".

Thanks!

Great, thanks for that info! I'll see if we can get some Help information
with appropriate tags posted so we can all find it. :-)
