Recently, a program called Spamblocker Utility attached itself to my Outlook
Express (6) program-I have Windows 2000 Professional, Service Pack 4. I
started to uninstall it with their uninstaller, and it stopped about three
quarters of the way. Now the spamblocker display window just sits on top of
the Outlook Express program, and it makes the entite program run very poorly,
for example the program can't be minimized, try to send mail and it gets very
confused, etc.
Does anybody know how I can get rid of this program?
Here is what I have tried.
Spamblocker's Technical Support does not help....they suggested I use their
Uninstall, which, as I mentioned, stops about 3/4 of the way.
There is no spamblocker listed in the 'Control panel' to "remove programs.'
The only thing I can think of is to reinstall Outlook. Can I do this? How?
, And what will happen to my address book and the emails I have saved? Any
other thoughts?
Thanks,
