disable security features?

I have a local LAN setup at the office that is not hooked
to the internet. When one of the computers is restarted
for whatever reason the other computers cannot access its
information until you get past a pop up screen asking for
a pc user name and password. I currently don't have any
passwords setup but you still have to enter the user name
then leave the password blank and then press enter in
order to access that computer again. This is a problem
for automated tasks that I have setup throughout the
network. How can I disable this feature??

If you enable the guest account on a computer offering shares and then have everyone
share and ntfs permissions for the shares, then you should be able to access shares
without authentication if that is what you want. See the link below for more
