Disable Script Debugging keeps getting unchecked

Every so often, all of a sudden, that checkbox (not of my doing) gets
unchecked and when a JS error occurs, I must click 'No' to the popup and go
back into Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and check that checkbox - then
click Apply.

I can't tell you how often or whether or not I'm doing something in
particular when it happens - it just happens whenever it wants (as it seems)

Any ideas on how I can prevent this?

This happens to me as well but it happens immediately. I uncheck the box,
click OK and then if I go back in to look it's back to being checked again.
I've gone through my Group Policies and can't see where this is set to be
checked. I have a policy that affects an OU that my account used to belong
to but I don't see anything that should be causing this condition. The group
policy is set to have that option unchecked.

Look forward to any suggestions. I am running Win2003 AD and my
workstations are XPSP2

Thanks

Paul

For me - it works for a while, then, when you least expect it (maybe a
couple of days later), it gets unchecked - -
I have Win2K pro.

Good thought but no Spybot. I checked Add/Remove Programs and Program Files
because I have used that program on other machines.

Yes - spybot is installed - - but it's been installed for a long time - -
what exactly are you getting at here?
Is it something that can be shut down by Spybot, or can it be controlled by
spybot?

If Spybot TeaTimer is enabled, disable it (turn it off) then change your
settings. I think you'll find the change sticks now.

I'd recommend leaving Tea Timer disabled, Elmo.
