I have an unusual problem in that I need to allow users on an intranet to
click on hyperlinks to Word documents, allow them to open and read - and
even print - the documents, but not to save local copies of the documents.
(These are operating procedures that change over time and we don't want
folks saving the old copies - printed versions have the date printed and an
expiration date watermarked on the print).
However, this almost needs to be a property of the hyperlink, because we
don't want to mess with the user's ability to download and save other
intranet or extranet files.
Many thanks in advance for suggestions on how this might be done or
knowledgeable posts that state it cannot be done.
