There is a policy to disable right click for students at
our school. However, they are still able to go to Start-
Programs and right click in the Program Group and choose
Explore. What's disconcerting is that this gives them
access to Documents and Settings, where they can copy
others work, delete others local files and be a real pain.
Is there a way to patch this "hole" in the policy?
Also, as a non-admin, how can they access others documents?
Thanks
Terry

if them are just Domain Users, and no local premission or members ship of
local or domain group has been added, them should not have accesss to other
peoples Documents, check your NFTS Security and make sure it is as default.

I'll check that. But I'm really most concerned about the
hole in the "no rightclick" policy. Any ideas out there?
Thanks again
Terry

Here is the policy to disable right click:

Enable the following policy in User Configuration/Adminsitrative
Templates/Start
menu and Taskbar/Remove Drag and Drop context menus on start menu

or make the nochangestartmenu policy to a red_dword of 1 in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explore
